Welcome to Xpressions 2026, the Annual Youth Fest organized by Jacob Institute of Biotechnology and Bioengineering (JIBB), SHUATS. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of Terms
- •By accessing and using the Xpressions 2026 website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
- •If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
- •We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- •Users must be at least 16 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use our services.
Account Registration
- •You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- •You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- •One person may only register one account. Multiple accounts per person are not permitted.
- •We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms.
Event Registration & Participation
- •Event registrations are subject to availability and eligibility criteria.
- •Participants must carry valid ID proof and their QR-coded entry pass to the venue.
- •Entry passes are non-transferable and must only be used by the registered participant.
- •Participants must follow all event rules, schedules, and instructions from coordinators.
- •Late arrivals may be denied entry to specific events at the discretion of organizers.
- •Photography and recording during events may be used for promotional purposes.
Payment & Refunds
- •All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment partners.
- •Registration fees are non-refundable once the event registration is confirmed.
- •In case of event cancellation by the organizers, a full refund will be provided.
- •Refund processing may take 7-14 business days depending on your payment method.
- •We are not responsible for any payment failures due to technical issues with your bank or payment provider.
Code of Conduct
- •All participants must behave respectfully towards other participants, organizers, and staff.
- •Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
- •Possession or consumption of alcohol, drugs, or prohibited substances is strictly forbidden.
- •Participants must not damage venue property or equipment.
- •Cheating or unfair practices during competitions will result in immediate disqualification.
- •Dress code must be appropriate and adhere to college guidelines.
Prohibited Activities
- •Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or unauthorized activities.
- •Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- •Uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
- •Impersonating others or providing false information.
- •Reselling or transferring registration passes without authorization.
- •Recording or live-streaming events without explicit permission.
Intellectual Property
- •All content on this website, including logos, graphics, and text, is the property of Xpressions 2026 and JIBB, SHUATS.
- •You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
- •Participants retain ownership of their original works submitted during competitions.
- •By participating, you grant us the right to use event photos and videos for promotional purposes.
Limitation of Liability
- •We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during events.
- •Participants attend events at their own risk and are advised to take necessary precautions.
- •We are not responsible for any third-party content or links on our website.
- •Our liability is limited to the amount paid for registration fees.
- •We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our services.
Cancellation & Modifications
- •We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events due to unforeseen circumstances.
- •In case of event changes, registered participants will be notified via email and the website.
- •We may modify event rules, schedules, or venues with prior notice when necessary.
- •Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) may result in event cancellation without liability.
Governing Law
- •These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India.
- •Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
- •If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
